Booking and Studio Policies:
Deposits are required to book all sessions. This ensures you get the dates you want and protects the studio from unexpected losses keeping our rates low. The deposit is credited towards the balance of the session. The amount of the deposit is ½ of the time you are booking (2 hour minimum deposit). Day rates require $100 per day deposit.
Deposits may be paid in check to: Dig Recording LLC, 420 SW Washington, Suite 606 , Portland , OR 97204 , or delivered in person. Cash deposits must be delivered in person. We accept credit card payments via paypal and issue clients credit for the amount actually received by the studio.
Dates can be held for 3 days while "the check is in the mail."
Deposits are fully refundable prior to 10 days before session start time.
Within 10 days, but at least 48 hours before session start time, sessions can be rescheduled and the deposit will transfer to the new date(s), but cannot be refunded.
In case of cancellations within 48 hours of session start time, the deposit is used as the short-notice cancellation fee and is non-refundable.
Day rates are non-refundable within 10 days of session except in extreme cases at our discretion.
Sessions start at the time they are booked for, regardless of whether clients are present or not, and continue until all studio functions have ceased and clients are preparing to leave. Clients may make arrangements in advance to arrive early if they have much equipment to load in.
Outstanding balances, including all media used, must be paid in full at the end of each session or block of dates. No media will be released, including rough mixes, until the entire balance is paid.
Master tapes and computer files left at the studio are uninsured. Dig Recording LLC cannot be held liable for damages out of our control to media or equipment. Media left over 30 days will be disposed of at the discretion of Dig Recording LLC.
We strive to keep all of our equipment in 100% working order and sounding great. In the unlikely event a session must be cancelled or delayed due to equipment failure, disaster or any other reason out of client or studio control, we will do our best to compensate clients for unusable time on a case-by-case basis. In such a situation, deposits are fully refundable providing your balance is paid up.
